His writing and music criticism has appeared in the Financial Times, The Wire, Bandcamp, New York Classical Review, The Tonearm, Music & Literature, Signal to Noise, The Strad, Red Hook/Village Star-Revue, New York Times, and numerous other publications. He's the author of the 333 series book "Miles Davis' Bitches Brew," and is the music editor of The Brooklyn Rail.
